YOU CAN REPAIR YOUR MARRIAGE

Did you know that when your marriage looks like its headed for the rocks and all hope seems gone, you don’t have to give up on the marriage? When things aren’t working out in a marriage, people have three choices. End the marriage, stay and suffer or fight to make the marriage succeed.
Most people often take the first option. They want out of that marriage. Hardly anyone is prepared to choose the last option these days. People have a ton of excuses. My partner has changed, I made a mistake marrying them, things are just not working out, I don’t love them anymore, are some of the excuses given.
As a Christian, you should know that there’s no situation that God cannot turn around for His glory, if you allow him to take charge of the situation. In the Book of Ephesians, we are told that God is able to do exceeding, abundantly, above all we could ever think or ask, according to the power that’s at work in us.
The mistake that most Christians make is that they assume that they can leave it all to God to work a miracle. That assumption only leads to frustration. The power to cause changes in our lives is right inside us, it’s not with God. If you are a Believer, married to a Believer, then it is God’s will that your marriage should succeed. But you have to use the power that God has given you.
Please remember that even if you believe that you made a mistake by getting married to your partner, you can still turn things around, if you know exactly what to do. When you received the Holy Spirit of God, you received power to cause the desired changes in your life and circumstances. I can testify of marriages that seemed doomed but became heaven on earth, when just one of the couple decided that they weren’t going to give up.
For the next few days, we will be discussing how to repair your marriage. It is possible. Remember that the Bible tells us that all things work together for good to them that love God and are the called according to His purpose. He is God, He does not lie.
PRAYER
Thank you Lord Jesus for letting me know that it’s not too late for my marriage to be turned around for your glory. I am decided to turn my marriage around for good and I will be committed to this task by your Grace and your Mercy. Amen
